He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Robert Chaffin and Willene Swift Chaffin; and his brother Dewayne Chaffin. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Kinnaird Chaffin of Cookeville, TN; his children, Glen Howard of Smyrna, TN, Jennifer Nelson (Mitchell) of Cookeville, TN and Paula Hayes (Troy) of Cookeville, TN; his grandchildren, Jaycie Carter, Chase Carter, Bryant Hayes, Caleb Nelson, Bethany Howard and Dezrick Howard; his great grandchild Leah Fox; his niece Joanna Williams; and his nephew Luke Chaffin.
