He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Haney and Bessie Jeanette Stewart Haney; his daughter Pamela Haney Peterson; his sons-in-law, Kenneth Peterson and Wayne Mayberry; his grandson Billy Joe Mayberry; his siblings, James Haney, Ewing Haney, Robert Haney and Maydell Haney Loftis; and his siblings-in-law, Harlon Crabtree, Earl Crabtree, Denver Loftis, Nellie Crabtree, Roberta Haney and Layla Haney.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Crabtree Haney of Gainesboro; his children, Sandy (Mike Thompson) and Randy (Shelia Haney); and his grandchildren, Brandi, Randy Bean, Christy Summers, Jennifer Mayberry, Anna, Thomas Goodwin, Emily, John Kimberly, Raymond, Savannah Mayberry, Ronnie Mayberry, Jara-Lee Brinkley, Josh Brinkley, Jacob and Victoria Haney. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren along with a hosts of nieces, nephews and friends.
