We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Renate Richardson of Cookeville, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Kochinke and Gertrud Kochinke; her husbands, Ernest Garland Hurst and Disney Delton Richardson; and her children, Rockford Richardson, Brenda Myers and Francis Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Ernie Hurst, Renate Knox, Linda Allen and Karen Richardson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Whitson Funeral Home (30 N Dixie Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501).
Her charity quilts, crafted with love, found their way to the Ronald McDonald House, the Shriners, Bags of Love, veterans, and Livingston Hospital.
