It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Barefield of Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Waynesboro, Georgia, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Shafter; and his son David Barefield (Sabrina Barefield). He is survived by: his wife Lela Daphane Barefield (Eller) of Cookeville; his son Kenny Allen Barefield (Lorie); and his grandchildren, Tabitha Jones (Brad), Sarah, Kyle, Joshua, Brian Barefield and Jared Layne (Jodonn Jared). He is also survived by nine great Grandchildren; plus, a host of Nieces & Nephews.
