He is survived by: his wife Marcia Steranka; his sons, Robbie Reed (Leah), Michael Reed and Phillip Reed (Melissa); his siblings, Alan Shaffer, Dottie Kobayoshi (Howard) and Judy Franklin (Ron); and his grandchildren, Summer Stauffer (Aaron), Mackenzie Adams (Cole), Tyler Reed, Amelia Reed and Callie Reed.
