He was predeceased by: his parents, Vay Aldon Vickers, Sr. and Vada Ann Gaw Vickers; his siblings, Emogene Burgess, Jimmie Ford, Julia Zurawski, Bennie Cole, Bobby Vickers and Johnny Vickers; and his granddaughter Malory Jean Gunter.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Gunter (Lucas) of Knoxville, Jeff Vickers (Angie) of Knoxville, Miranda Ellis (Justin) of McMinnville and Natasha Vickers; and his siblings, Juanita Bartlett of Cookeville, Lola Boles (Wheeler) of Cookeville, Donna Palk (Tommy) of Cookeville, Richard Vickers (Linda) of Cookeville, David Vickers (Tomi) of California, Vay Vickers Jr. of Cookeville and Billy Vickers of Michigan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
