He is survived by: his wife Joan Buck Brown; his daughters, Beverly Coates (Jackie) of Cookeville and Cheri Cobb (Shane) of Cookeville; his sister Barbara Franklin (Greg) of Hilham; his niece Elizabeth Franklin; his grandsons, Brandon Coates (Breanna) and Jake Cobb (Olivia); and his brother-in-law Kenneth "Russ" (Judy Warden).
