She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin and Rosa Bowen Thompson; her husband Perry Denson Culver; her son Bobby Stubbs; her adoptive daughter Deborah Thompson; and her stepdaughters, Phyllis Wilson Sanborn and Patsy Culver.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Wilson and Carol Welch. She is also survived by grandchildren and many extended family.
