He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Winningham and Rosella Hoover Winningham (Robertson); and his siblings, Donald Ray "Duck" Hoover, Jeffery Hoover, Johnny Hoover, Tony Hoover, Joann Willard, Brenda Hoover and Phyllis Hoover.

He is survived by: his son Zackery Winningham; his brother Jimmy Hoover; and his niece Tiffany Wilson A. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made towards cremation expenses.
