He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Daniel Scanlon and Nettie Benton Harney Scanlon; and his siblings, Charles Scanlon, Judy Little and Joy Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Clema Scanlon of Dodson Branch; his children, Mark Thomas Scanlon of Wilmington, Ohio and Sandy Franklin (Danny) of Dodson Branch; and his grandsons, Brandon Barlow of Dodson Branch, Tennessee and Joshua Barlow of Dodson Branch, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces nephews and other family and friends.
