He is survived by: his sister Ruby Brown of Sparta; his half-sister Vonda Johnson of Spencer; his brother John Wesley Sullivan of Sparta; his stepbrother Charles W. Johnson of Sparta; his nephews, James Willard Smartt of McMinnville, Shawn Lee Brown and Jarod Brown; and his great-nephew Michael Brown.
