He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sessions, Sr. and Elizabeth Knight Sessions; his sisters, Betty Newcomb, Jo Ann Love and Helen Manning; and his stepsister Beverly Schang.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Sessions; his children, William C. Sessions, III (Boo) of Lakeland, TN, Helen Wheeler of Cookeville, TN and Rebecca Morgan of Cookeville, TN; his grandchildren, Lindsey Dunn (Jared), Elizabeth Morgan, Alexis Sessions, Madison Sessions, Zachary Sessions and Peyton Sessions; his great grandchildren, Maci and Annabelle; his nephews, Alton and Jimmy Manning; his niece Roxie Walker; and his pet Riley.
