She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hall and Ethie Payne Hall; her husband James Smith Sr.; her children, James Smith Jr. and Jane Cleo Smith; her stepgranddaughter Stephanie Nechelle Bearden; and her great grandchild Iyla Bearden.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry; her children-in-law, Keith Bearden and Joyce Payne Smith; her grandchildren, Bradley Austin Bearden (Joan) and April Renee Bearden; her stepgrandson David Cecil Bearden (Luisa); her great grandchildren, Tyler Jason Deal, Aubree Nechelle Dills, Tyler Dills, Brody Bearden, Lydia Bearden, Evelyn Bearden, Bryson Bearden, Nicole Vanderzouwen and Faith Vanderzouwen; and her siblings, Fred Hall (Fran) and Frances Hall. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
