She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pless Simonds and Lola Mae Carter Simonds; her husband Paul David Collins; her daughter Ladonna Collins; and her siblings, David Cross and Carolyn Hembree.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Collins (Stephanie) of Ducktown, TN, Jeff Collins (Brandon Shields) of Copperhill, TN and Regina Talley (James) of Ducktown, TN; her grandchildren, Dustin Talley, Kayla Talley, Zachary Paul Collins and Anthony Bledsoe; and her sisters, Lavada Harris of Gastonia, NC, Louise Thompson (Lewis) of Ocoee, TN and Margaret Franklin (Perry) of Copperhill, TN. She is also survived by relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Copperhill Chapel (823 Ocoee St, Copperhill, TN 37317). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
