She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Leonard and Edna Lorane Thompson Horton; her husband James W. Waters; her children, Infant William Waters and Mark Waters; her grandchild Louvetia O'Neal; and her siblings, Vickie Henson and Joel Horton.
She is survived by: her son Sidney Freeman; her stepchildren, Vickie Talbert, Cheri Waters and Jeff Waters (Beverly); her grandchildren, Nicholas Waters, Holly Waters, Samuel Wright, Franklin Waters, Jeffen Waters, Anthony Martin, Chris Martin and Sarah Martin; her great grandchildren, Raven Ross, T. J. Ross, Isla Waters, Wyatt Waters, Cohen Davis, Kora Davis, Cane Davis, Sydney Deal, Inman Martin, Natalie Martin, Sawyer Martin and Gavin Martin; her sister June Crosby; and her pet Forest Gump Waters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel (823 Ocoee St, Copperhill, TN 37317). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
