He was predeceased by : his father Amos Cross; his wife Mary Ann Cross; his daughter Tammy Payne; and his siblings, Oscar Cross, Kenneth Cross, Richard Cross, Lucille Allen, Geneva Lee and Max Cross.

He is survived by : his children, Tony Cross (Anna Mealer) of Copperhill, Daniel Cross (Helen) of Copperhill and Carol Cross (Jason Morgan) of Copperhill; his grandchildren, Corey Cross, Douglas Payne, Brenda Payne, Kaleb Cross and Kane Morgan; and his great grandchild Cash Roberson.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to help defray the final expenses.
