He was predeceased by: his parents, Lake Standridge and Pauline Shinpaugh Standridge; his wife Josephine Gunther Standridge; his daughters, Hope Wood and Sonya Standridge; his stepson David Sutton; his brother Jack; his sister-in-law Donna Standridge; and his sister Shelby (Kenny Sisson).

He is survived by: his daughter Sharon; his son-in-law David Bailey of Ft. Mitchell, AL.; his son Billy; his daughter-in-law Tammy Standridge of Morganton; his stepchildren, Debbie Couture of Benton, TN., Michelle, Mike Callihan of Blue Ridge, Jimmy Sutton of Isabella, TN., Amy, Robbie Cole of Blue Ridge, Stony, Lisa Standridge of Cleveland, TN., Wyatt Standridge of Ducktown, TN. and Ben Galloway of Blue Ridge; his grandchildren, Jowanda Sparks, Krystle Freiberg, Adam Standridge, James Standridge, Paul James Couture, Jesse Sutton, Stephanie Wilcox, Courtney Hamrick and Zack Wood; his great grandchildren, Braedan Culverhouse, Blayne Sparks, Presley Davis, Bailey Freiberg, Carter Freiberg, Collin Freiberg, Briella Postell, Delilah Hyatt and Braeden Wilcox; and his caregiver Ron Stanford.
