With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cleda Irene Lawson of Cordova, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Cleda left this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Cleda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Cleda has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her parents, Quillen Bledsoe and Addie Bledsoe; her husband George Lawson; and her siblings, Nannie Hood, Dovie Johnson, Gay Nell Bolling, John Bledsoe, Howard Bledsoe and Bill Bledsoe.
She is survived by: her sister Jean Stepp of Bartlett, Tennessee.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the American Legion Cemetery (2 State Rte 610, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
