He is survived by: his children, David Scott, Darius Scott (Armesha Johnson) and Denise Scott; and his siblings, Alex Garrett, Jr., Franklin Robinson, Melissa Garrett and Rosa (Morris). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Millington Funeral Home, Inc. (7738 Church St, Millington, TN 38053). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the All Saints Christians Fellowship (1210 Rutland Rd, Memphis, TN 38114).
