She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Eugene and Rosa Ford (Barker); her sisters, Royetta Burnett and Louise Ellis; her nephew Stephen Roberts; and her niece Freddie Elaine Roberts.

She is survived by: her husband Orlando R. Scott, Jr. of Cordova, TN; and her children, Alicia A. Scott of Maryland Heights, MO, Robert E. Scott of Murphysboro and Gregory A. Scott (Angel) of Dayton, OH..
