We announce the death of Ruth Deaviser of Cordova, Tennessee, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 86. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ruth will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Thomas Huckaba and Annie Matthews Huckaba; her husband James E. Deaviser; and her siblings, Velma Clay, Louvenia Waddill and Wayne Huckaba.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Deaviser (Tricia) and Debbie Martin (Ronnie); and her sisters, Florine Turnage of Southaven and Wanda Fisher of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
