He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Barnett (Connie) of Minor Hill, Paul Mitchell (Tammie) of Cornersville and James "Jimbo" Mitchell (Malinda) of Beech Hill; and his grandchildren, Sara Weigel (Levi), Clayton Mitchell, Samuel Mitchell, Lorna Mitchell, Emma Mitchell (Aaron Fox) and Jackson Mitchell (Jordyn Hopkins). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
