He is survived by : his wife Catherine Fleury Ownby of Cornersville; his children, Christie Kelley (Bryan) of Huntsville, AL, Dawn Arias (Juan) and James Helmholtz; and his siblings, Timmy Ownby of Cornersville, Randy Ownby of Cornersville, Sandra Stokes (Wayne) and Tammy King. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
