He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Fletcher, Mandy Byrge Ward, Lonzy and Sally Nolan Kennedy; his father Glen Ward (Ray); his brothers, Allen (Joe) and Glen Ward; his niece Heather McKamey; and his great-nephew Eli Wayne Smith.

He is survived by : his mother Edith Ward (Harvey) of Caryville; his siblings, Chuck Ward (Liz) of Jacksboro, Roxie McKamey (John Leab) of Briceville and Charlotte Smith (Bobby Perry) of Luttrell; and his girlfriend Caroline Coffing. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
