She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Christopher "Chris" Buckner; her granddaughter Chloe Young; her parents, Everett Hensley and Ollie Mae Hensley (Green); and her siblings, Carolyn Muncey, Linda Carroll, Barbara Ann Hensley, Thelma Jean Carroll, Katherine Hunter, Virginia Sweet and Earl.
She is survived by: her children, April Cooper (Jerry) of Maynardville, Michael Thomas (Kellie Greene) of Knoxville and Christopher Buckner (Sara Ridge); her daughter-in-law Anna Buckner of Knoxville; her stepdaughter Selisa McKinney (Nikki) of Kentucky; her siblings, Ricky Hensley, Joe Bill Carroll, Kenneth Ray Carroll (Ralphie) and Lisa Hensley; and her close friend Tina Poindexter of Corryton. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends.
