He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edward and Beulah Frances Killion; his brother Charles Edward Killion; and his brother-in-law Bob Haley. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Haley, Jennifer Savage Stocks and Nelson Larch; his cousin Misty Bradley; his pets, Teenie, Sheba, Kitty and Willow; and his extended family, Fredia McCarthy, Karen, Stephanie, Wendy, Michelle, Jeremy, Jaden, Carter, Chase, Eric and Dr. Hodroge. He is also survived by friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mayes Mortuary (444 W Main St, Morristown, TN 37814). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Donnie's memory to The East Tennessee Nurse Honor Guard, Young-Williams Animal Center, or the Morristown-Hamblen Humane Society.
