She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Hurst and Johnnie Faye Hurst; her husband William E. "Buddy" Phillips; her siblings, Jody Laster, Kathy Adams and James; and her sister-in-law Thelma Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Skidmore, Bill Skidmore (Rhonda), Felicia Miles (Chris) and Brian Phillips; her grandchildren, Stephanie Walker (Johnny), Carl Lee, SJ Skidmore, Jacob Phillips and Aeslyn Miles; her great grandchildren, Khloe, Elijah and Ethan Walker; and her brother Chip Hurst.
