He was predeceased by: his father Clarence McCurry; his daughter Kelli; and his siblings, Brenda Lawerence and Kenneth. He is survived by: his mother Mary McCurry; his daughter Sara Lee; and his siblings, Linda Miller, Alice Woody (Tommy), Betty Conard, Laura Muncey (James), Bobby McCurry and Donald McCurry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mynatt Funeral Home (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blaine Chapel Cemetery.
