She was predeceased by : her parents, Ervin Cooper and Nellie Cooper; and her sisters, Pauline Messer, Inez Hensley and Flossie Allen.

She is survived by : her husband Leroy Strevel; her daughter Darlene; her son-in-law Dewayne Reece; her son Dale; her daughter-in-law Darlene Strevel; her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Dwayne Kitts; and her grandchildren, Travis Banks (Cody), Jason Belt (Brianna), Anthony Munsey (Kayla), Gavin Strevel (Sarah), Tyler, Bethany and Zachary Kitts. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
