He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene Hinton Sr. and Betty Hinton Bateman; and his brother Steve David Hinton. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Juanita Hinton; his son William Hinton (Cathy); and his grandsons, Christopher Phillips and Benjamin Black (Emily Merritt).
