With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Lewis Carmon Jr. of Corryton, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 47, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, William Lewis Carmon, Sr. and Barbara A. Brown; the mother of his children Dorothy "Dot" Ryder; and his sisters, Dorene Godwin, Joyce Covington (Paul) and Sherri Bridges (Matt).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Haun Cemetery.
