He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kenneth and Karen Sue Sampson; and his grandparents, Earl, Norma Painter, Dayten and Crystal Sampson.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica L. Sampson; his daughters, Elizabeth McLeod (R. K.) and Anna Marie Sampson; his stepson Allen Cox (Heather); his sister Tina Branham (Jamie); his nephews, Mathew, Nathan Branham and Randy Merrill; his great-nephew Alex; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emily, Charlie, Wyatt, Trinity and Abigail; and his brothers-in-law, George "Sonny" Merrill (Sheri) and Billy Merrill (Becky).
