It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Wilson of Cosby, Tennessee, who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Cora farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cora is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Wilson; her parents, Elmer Moore and Hattie Moore; and her sisters, Edna Woody and Illa Messer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ennis Alvin Moore (Della) of Cosby and Ellie Chaney of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
