Kent left this world on July 8, 2025 at the age of 39, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Shirley, Carl Coggins, Dolly and Laverne Black; and his aunts and uncles, Sherman, Ferman, Paul Black, Bonnie Schafer and Karen Black.
He is survived by: his parents, Von Black and Bobbie Black; his daughters, Baylor and Brinley Black; his close friend Crystal Hayes; the mother of his children Megan Black; his brother Wade Hall (Acea Ottinger); his aunt Carla Williamson (Roger); his uncles, Oll Black and Charlie Black; his nephew Grason Hall; his cousins, Carl Wayne Self (Brittany) and Nikki Kelley (Lance); and also, Larry and Leeann Bull.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Blacks Family Cemetery.
