He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Allen Freeman; his children, Theresa Kestner (Gary) and Scott Freeman; his adoptive daughter Regina Freeman; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Freeman; his grandchildren, Brooke Freeman, Kenneth Francis (Kim), Ashley Bitner (Will) and Josh Freeman (Whitney); his sisters, Bobbie Williamson (Jimmy), Henny Butler, Orlevia Ellison and Darnella Woody; and his great grandchildren, Keegan Francis, Layla Freeman, Abigail Freeman, Liam Freeman and Addison Bitner. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Allen Cemetery (2495 Dark Hollow Rd, Cosby, TN 37722).
