He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Garrett and Betty Gutherie Garrett; his daughter Heather Garrett; and his brothers, Mike and Ricky Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Garrett of Cottage Grove, Christie Lamb of Humboldt and Christopher Garrett of Iowa; his brother David Garrett (Michele) of McKenzie; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jones, Kylie Natividad and Alissa Garrett; and his great grandchildren, Lillian Hutson, Holden Rudolph, Zaire Tanner and Ariya Tanner.
