She was predeceased by: her parents, Odie Johnson, and Janie Reed Johnson, Sr.; her husband Billy J. Horner; her son Hugh Rex Horner; her granddaughter Tammy Allen; her siblings, Johnny Duncan, Odie Johnson, Jr., Franky Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Lucy Davenport and Lillie Brinkley; and her son-in-law Chuck Allen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Adkins (Doug) of Barren Plains, TN and Kay Allen Crutcher (Gary) of Portland, TN; her grandchildren, Katrina Herring (Eric), Martin Allen (KT), Kelly Allen-Debaillon (Darren), Mackenzie Adkins and Kevin Adkins; and her great grandchildren, Eric Herring, Jr. and Jaya Herring. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home White House (533 TN-76, White House, TN 37188). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
