It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Mae Gateley of Cottontown, Tennessee, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Thomas and Ada Alta Ready Emerson; her husband James "Jimmy" Gateley; her siblings, David Emerson and Ruth Skidmore; and her great grandchild Elan McCaslind.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Gateley of Cottontown, TN and Teresa Corlew (David) of Gallatin, TN; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Skidmore and Pat Emerson of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
