It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie George of Cottontown, Tennessee, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Lanier Pryor and Mable Lavetta Hunter-Pryor; her husband Floyd Herman George; and her siblings, Otis Hunter Pryor, Denver Lanier Pryor, Edna Amanda Pryor Ramsey, Martha Luzinka Pryor Munday and Mabel Pryor Clodfelter.
She is survived by: her daughter Melba Lee George Wix (Paul); and her sisters, Annis Rebecca Pryor Barham and Gayla Dianne Pryor Templeton (Ed). She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in honor of Mrs. George to World Bible School or Church of Christ Disaster Relief Funds.
