He was predeceased by: his parent Hurley Kendall Counce. He is survived by: his parent Dale Frances Counce; his sisters, Turdi McClain and Diane Davis; his wife Mary Counce; his children, Melissa Simrell [Michael], Sarah Counce [Tommy] and Paul Counce [Katie]; his grandchildren, Brianna Cicchetto, Lucas Counce, Wynn Maceri and Oliver Simrell; and his great grandchild Calix Bannow.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 491 Hinton Rd, Counce, TN 38326.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Larry's memory to the Horse Creek Wildlife Sanctuary, located at 13780 Highway 69, Savannah, TN 38372.
