He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Thornton and Helen Thornton; and his brother David Thornton. He is survived by: his daughter Kristi McDivitt of Burlison; his grandson Grayson McDivitt of Burlison; and his sister Carrie Edwards of Atoka.
