She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Hendren and Billie Barham Griggs; her husband Jerry Apfel; her children, Jaime Hunter (Jerry), Kendra Parr (Donald), David Apfel and Cory Apfel (Ashley); and her grandchildren, Jillian Hunter, Jasper Hunter, Jansen Hunter, Coco Parr, Sebastian Parr, Braxton Apfel, Jaxon Apfel, Bre Taylor, Wyatt Apfel, Owen Durham and Luxley Apfel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the building center for First Baptist Church Covington.
