With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Williams Peeler Anderson of Covington, Tennessee, who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Williams and Martha Hayes; her former husband Bobby Lee Peeler; and her siblings, Thomas D. "Buddy" Williams, Terry Williams, David Hayes, Wanda Stubblefield, Betty Channell, Carolyn Mohundro and Sue Hensley.
She is survived by: her husband Eddie Anderson; her children, Michael Peeler (Venessa), Sheila Covert of Covington and Kim Lawrence of Covington; her siblings, Kate Fuqua (Dale) of Pontotoc, MS and Donald "Bubba" Hayes of Brighton; her grandchildren, Stacey Peeler, Daniel Covert (Shelby), Michelle Peeler, Jessica Renfrow (Rickey), Spencer Howard, Courtney Howard and Will Howard; and her great grandchildren, Alston, Brystol Claire, Bentlee Renfrow, Lincoln and Kye Covert.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Walton Cemetery (658 Oak Grove Rd, Covington, TN 38019).
