We are sad to announce that, on March 5, 2025, Gene Stockton of Covington, Tennessee, born in Columbus, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Stockton and Floy Stockton; his wife Mary Jean Freeman Stockton; his children, Kenny Stockton (Karla), Karen Stockton, Walter Stockton, Sharon Gordon and Becky Rossi; his stepchildren, Sharon Hale, Pete Freeman and Melissa Freeman; his grandchildren, Will Stockton, Jake Stockton (Maria) and Kelly Horton (Chase); and his great grandchildren, Mattie Jane Horton (Lonnie), Kit, Amelia (Parker Stockton) and Rawson Stockton.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Covington Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) or the Covington First United Methodist Church.
