He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burton (J. B.) and Dorothy Mason. He is survived by: his wife Connie Mason; his sons, Jere Wayne Mason (Madalyn Mason), Justin Derek Mason (Melissa Mason) and Joshua Daniel Mason; his grandchildren, Jere Alexander Mason of Covington, James Austin Mason (Mackenna Mason) of Covington, Jade Ashlee Mason of Covington and Jude Alan Mason of Covington; and his siblings, Jimmy Mason (Demetra Mason), Jeff Mason (Angela Mason) and Alice Pegg (Mike Pegg).
