With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Erwin of Covington, Tennessee, who passed away on April 21, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Addison Erwin, Sr.; her parents, Henry Smith and Evie Elizabeth Hamblin Smith; and her sisters, Jane Stroud and Doris Sanders.

She is survived by: her son Paul Addison "Skip" Erwin, Jr. (Kendy) of Covington; her siblings, John Henry Smith (Carolyn) of Brighton, Walter Smith (Bonnie) of Covington, June Jones (Doug) of Dandridge, TN, Florence Gadomski (Dick) of Memphis, Sarah Bringle of Covington, Evelyn Poag of Memphis, Jeanette Daniel (Richard) of Alabama and Mary Laxton (Sammy) of Brighton; her grandchildren, Cody Hayes Erwin (Jessica) and Gil Bennett Erwin; and her great grandchildren, Sadie and Finn Erwin.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorials to be sent to the charity of your choice or to the Liberty Baptist Church.
