He is survived by: his mother Betty Beard of Tupelo; his daughter Emma of Brighton; his wife Jan Richey; his sons, Jonathan (Kathleen) of Nashville, Justin (Heather) of Union City and Jeremy (MacKenzie) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Walter, Sam, Nora and Charlotte; and his siblings, Jeff Beard of Jackson and Eileen Beard of Nashville.
