He was predeceased by: his father Larry F. Coats; and his stepsister Adrienne Phillips. He is survived by: his mother Debra A. Barnett (Ray); his significant other Katie Coats; his daughter Meri Ruth; his sisters, Sabrina Lowry (Dustin) and Chloe Barnett; his stepbrother Chris Barnett (Cheryl); his nieces and nephews, Noah Lowry, Curly Lowry, Riley Barnett, Brock Barnett, Zac Hodgins, Sally Wilson (Jordan), Sarah Kate Downing, Ashlynn Hinshaw, Sydney Downing, Beau Downing and Dawson Downing; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eli Hodgins, Katie Gray Downing, Hensley Kate Wilson and Collins Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
