He was predeceased by: his daughter Missy Yarbro; his parents, Cliff Whitehead and Mary Morgan Whitehead; and his brothers, James Whitehead, Brent Whitehead, Marsden Whitehead and Paul Whitehead.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Whitehead; and his children, Rhonda Reid (Lance) of Dickson, Bobby Simmons (Lisa) of Ripley, Duck Whitehead (Amanda) of Millington and Jennifer Whitehead of Quito. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
