She is survived by: her children, James Buford Cook (Cathy) and Teresa Lynn McIntyre (James Todd); her close friend Melvin Mize; and her grandchildren, Krystal Sims, Stacie Sims, Cayla Mashburn, TJ McIntyre and Gracey McIntyre. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home (1701 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Gardens (2691 TN-59, Covington, TN 38019).
